Today (March 9th, 2021), while spending time with my heavenly Father I asked Him what was on His heart? This was His response:
“My people are on my heart. Many of them are lost. They are like sheep without a Shepherd. They have been ravaged by wolves. They are wounded and blind, and they need to come home.”
I wasn’t sure if He was referring to Christians or others, so I asked Him and He answered, “These are My people. They call themselves by My Name, but their hearts have wandered away from Me. They have left their first love, and they have been looking for love in all the wrong places. Please keep praying for them because I want them to come home.”
When Father God said this to me, I could feel the longing in His heart for the Christians who have become lost. Then I began to cry and the Spirit of the Lord led me to pray for the lost in Christ. I prayed that they would wake up and realize the truth about their state. I prayed that they would repent for leaving their first love and for loving the world more than God. I prayed that they would fall on their knees before God and surrender their hearts totally to Him, and I prayed that they would come home to the loving heart of the Father.
If you have left your first love, or if you have never truly known the love of the Father, and if you look for love and acceptance anywhere other than in God, then you are one of the lost in Christ. You are a prodigal son or daughter of God as in Luke 15:11-32. However, Father God wants you to know that you are very much on His heart, and He is waiting for you with outstretched arms, longing for you to come home.
